This program will provide seed money for projects and programs outside of the United States including jazz education advocacy, technical assistance to developing countries, and exchange programs. IAJE’s South African Music Relief Campaign, which provided music and instruments to South African townships, is an example of how we have made an impact.
The Global Outreach initiative will also provide support for IAJE regional conferences in the United States, Canada, Latin American, Europe, and Asia. Even a small amount of funding can make a difference for parts of the world where they are thirsty to learn more about jazz.
